Life has a way of impacting us, and having a support system can make those difficult moments more barrable. Many of our volunteers and donors have personally dealt with abuse, neglect, or have had family members who have experienced these traumas.

The road to building Bethesda has brought in passionate community interest

In August of 2023 Ebenezer brands partnered with The BETHESDA Center Inc to raise awareness to this incredibly valuable mission. Ebenezer brands is a faith driven marketing company that selects a non-profit every year to bless with a helping hand.

Bethesda’s Vision: Remodel a 6,000-Square-Foot Facility for Healing and Empowerment

Bethesda is on a mission to build a dedicated space where vulnerable children can experience emotional healing, empowerment, and physical respite. This 6,000-square-foot facility is designed to offer a safe environment, collaborating with professionals and spiritual mentors to provide hope and support for children in need.

Creating a Safe and Supportive Space for Vulnerable Children

The new facility will provide a nurturing atmosphere focused on helping children who are most at risk. Bethesda’s goal is to establish a place where these children can find peace, healing, and empowerment. Working alongside skilled professionals, the space will offer both emotional support and physical care, ensuring that these young individuals receive the full range of services they need.

Collaborating with Trained Professionals and Spiritual Mentors

In this facility, Bethesda will bring together trained professionals and spiritual mentors. Their collective expertise will serve to provide holistic care for children, addressing both their emotional and physical needs. This collaboration is vital for delivering well-rounded support and creating a space where children can begin to heal and grow.

Aftercare Services: Ensuring Access to Medical and Emotional Support

A key component of this project is the provision of aftercare services. The facility will offer transportation to medical appointments, ensuring that children have access to the care they need. Whether for physical treatment or emotional counseling, no child will be left without the necessary support. The focus on comprehensive care ensures that children’s needs are met both during and after their stay at the facility.

Providing Education and Nutrition: Empowering Children for a Brighter Future

Alongside emotional healing, Bethesda’s facility will also support the educational and nutritional needs of children. With access to schooling and nutritious meals, children will have the tools they need to thrive. Education is a powerful tool for empowerment, and Bethesda is committed to helping children gain the skills and knowledge to build a brighter future.

A Home Away from Home: Creating Comfort and Stability

Ultimately, the goal of Bethesda’s new space is to create a “home away from home” for vulnerable children. This facility will serve as a safe haven where children can feel secure, cared for, and valued. The environment will be warm and welcoming, offering a sense of stability during a challenging time in their lives.
